Creamy Tomato Fettuccine



Ingredients

  • 1 finely diced Onion
  • 1 tsp minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 jar (24 oz) Marinara Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Creushed Red Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
  • 1 lb cooked Fettuccine Noodles


Instructions

  1. In a large pan heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic and sautee until just tender.
  3. Add marinara sauce, basil, oregano, red pepper.
  4. Stir and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in cream until well blended.
  7. Add in parmesan and stir until blended.
  8. Add drained fettuccine and toss to coat.
