INGREDIENTS
For the crust:
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
For the filling:
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 box vanilla or white chocolate instant pudding (large box)
- 3 cups milk
For the topping:
- 8 oz container cool whip
- Chocolate syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
To make crust:
- Preheat oven to 400, lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter in water and bring to a boil
- Add flour and mix well
- Cool slightly and stir in eggs, one at a time, mixing completely before adding another egg
- Spread into a greased 9x13 pan
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely
To make filling:
- In a large bowl, mix vanilla pudding, milk and cream cheese. Beat until lumps disappear
- When the crust is completely cooled, pour filling in
- Spread cool whip on top of vanilla pudding and drizzle syrup on top
